Oh, sweet god. Someone loved her up there! Walking into the rec-center, she discovered that it was pretty empty. Usually there was at least a few people there. Apparently it was too hot inside for the other campers to be inside on a day like this. As for Kaycee? Well, she pretty much loved it. This meant that the whole place would be to herself, and completely quiet. It also meant that she had dibs on the television, and could watch whatever she wanted. Well, that really depended on what channels there were.

Kaycee slowly drifted on over towards the couch in front of the television. Now where was the remote? Her dark eyes glanced around, looking for said remote. Setting down her Coke, she continued on with her search, looking up by the tv, and then around the couch. Finally, she started to move the couch cushions, because that had to be the only place left she hadn’t checked. Damn, she was good. Hidden under one of the cushions was the very remote she had been looking for. ”Fuckers think their smart.” Maybe someone had stashed it there, maybe not. Either way, she had found it, and now it was all hers until she got bored and found something else to do.

The multi-colored haired girl then flopped down onto the couch, turning on the television. The volume on the tv had been previously left completely turned up. So when she turned it on, the noise came screaming out of the tv, causing the teenager to jump. Gun fire, bombs going off, the whole works. Apparently someone had been watching some sort of action movie. Turning down the volume was the first thing she did, before the noise would blow out the speakers on the tv. Oh man, she would hunt someone down if this tv broke.

Then, she began channel surfing. As usual on a tv, there was hardly anything good on. Lots of cooking shows, and Hispanic channels. Were there even any Hispanic people here at camp, or did she just not pay attention to them? There was Asians, that’s for sure. A small sigh escaped the girl as she sunk down in the couch, continuing to channel surf. Finally, she landed on a cartoon channel, where the Rugrats was playing. Good enough. It was better than watching some show about cooking. Kaycee actually liked cartoons too, even though she probably didn’t seem like it when you were talking to her.

Well the original plan to meet someone new today failed in quite a miserable way. Leon ended up looking for a place to hide from the heat, he disliked it when days were so hot, they reminded him of his hometown, and let's face it, Leon disliked Cheyenne. So the teen was forced to find a hideout, some place where he wouldn't be annoyed by squirrels or any insect. The only place he could think of was inside, and the first place he came upon? The recreation center.

Yes, TV was always a life saving thing, he'd rot his eyes until worms ate his orbs... or until someone threw him out of that place, whatever happened first. The sole idea brought a huge smile upon Leon's features almost instantly, the best thing was that he'd probably get the chance to be alone, after all, almost everyone in this camp loved being outdoors, and riding ponies and petting bears, but no Leon thank you very much.

Pushing the doors open, Leon's smile was almost slapped out of his face, someone beat him!! There was a girl sitting already on the couch, watching TV... and what was worse, watching Rugrats, that cartoon gave him the creeps, no idea why but those babies just didn't look normal.

Maybe... maybe he could approach and ask kindly if she could change the channel? Yeah that could happen. Walking silently, as always, Leon reached the couch and sat on the other end, careful enough not to throw himself on the furniture so he wouldn't bug the other girl... he was pretty sure he had heard her name before, but he couldn't remember. "Hello" He half mumbled and once those words left his lips, the idea of asking her to change the channel poofed completely, yeah he couldn't even ask someone to change the channel. He was THAT pathetic. She got here first after all... With a sigh, Leon lifted his gaze from the floor and posed his blue eyes on the screen....

Man those babies really weren't normal.

The multi-color haired girl was so engulfed in her cartoon, that she didn't hear the door opening. Nor did she spy the male walking in and approaching the couch. What did get her attention was a sudden weight adding itself to the end of the couch. Her dark eyes traveled from the tv, looking down the couch, and landing right on the male. She took a moment to look him over, and decided that he wasn't half bad looking. Okay, well, he was pretty hot.

All he said was a simple hello, which ment he probably wasn't that social. That or he just was in a bad mood. Or he sucked at starting conversations. Either way, the female shrugged her shoulders and simply replied with a "Hey" and that was that.

Her attention then returned to the tv, realizing that she had indeed seen this episode more times than she could count. Kaycee ignored the sigh coming from the guy on the other end of the couch. He was definately in a bad mood..or maybe he didn't like this show? That was probably it..not a lot of guys watched cartoons. Due to the fact that she had already seen this episode, she was willing to change the channel. Maybe to even something the two of the could agree on. The guy would have to speak up first, though.

"What kind of shows do you like watching? I'm willing to make a deal..but..no sports." Normally, she probably wouldn't have offered up such a thing. She was quite selfish in that way. Once more, she looked over at the guy, waiting for some sort of answer. Idly, her fingers tapped on the remote as she waited.

Oh well apparently not everyone here was out there to get him, that should add some points to his self esteem gauge and maybe even force him to talk! Leon opened his mouth to reply when a thought crossed his head... what shows did he enjoy? He was pretty sure of the shows he disliked mainly because they grossed him out and made him feel sick, although a lot of things made him feel sick. Returning to the matter at hand. Leon's eyes returned to the TV, it was his chance!!

Opening his mouth again, this time the words ready to come out, a little childish glee in his eyes. "Any movie will be fine, I don't like sports either... or some other cartoon? Rugrats are just too creepy for me... their abnormal heads look like jelly." Oh well that was such a deep and academical way of putting his thoughts. But it was the truth, they looked just not normal. "A terror movie would be fine... if you don't mind" it would probably be hard to find a terror movie since it wasn't night time but at least they could try and come on, it was cable!! Leon liked terror movies, even if couldn't sleep for days after watching it, wimp sucker.

Call it... masochism.

"Or... what are you up to?" Wow, that series of phrases was more than what Leon had said in days, TV sure was a nice way to open up. Asking for the girl's opinion was a must, Leon was normally polite and put others first, why? Just because, it made him feel uncomfortable when people went against their wishes just to please him, and besides, this girl didn't look all too willing to just accept his offers without a word herself. She might hurt him, and then he'd have to go hide behind a tree trunk, or in his room.

"I'm Leon by the way, nice to meet you" Yeah he forgot that too, introducing himself was also a nice thing to do. At least his social skills weren't THAT retarded.

A guy who didn’t like sports, huh? Well, that was a rare thing indeed. Kaycee couldn’t help but grin as she heard this news. So the guy wanted to watch a movie, and any kind? Well, if she could find a chick flick, she could probably scare him off. It would be his fault, after all, for not saying which type of movie. Oh, well then he just went and had to diss on the show she had been watching. A show she really did like, and had since she was a small child. ”Has anyone told you that you have an abnormal shaped head?” She shot back at the male, continuing to grin. In reality, he didn’t really, she just felt like making a point. She was sure she probably had. Then, before she could find some chick flick, he said that a terror movie would be fine. Well, it was a good thing that she liked terror movies atleast.

Well, it was a guy who didn’t like sports, and actually had some manners. Kaycee looked away from the guy, and back towards the television. Slowly, she began to switch through the channels of cable tv. God, what she would give to actually have satellite tv and a laptop with internet..and her cellphone, of course. ”Terror movie is fine by me.” It was a weird time to watch a scary movie, during the day. She normally didn’t do that. Normally she watched them at night, with her friends, so they could all be scared and couldn’t sleep for the rest of the night. Scary movies were awesome like that.

Oh, and even more manners spouting out of the guy who now decided to introduce himself. Nice to meet her? He had spoken about two sentences to her, how would he know what she was like? Grinning, she looked back over at him and shrugged her shoulders. ”If you think so. My names Kaycee.” She then returned to flipping through the channels, finally finding what looked like 30 Days of Night. Good movieee.

Well it was very obvious this girl was no camper, just take a look at her! crazy hair, crazy clothes, she certainly belonged to any place but the camp, the animals are most probably afraid of her, well even Leon would be afraid if her if he ever encountered in the middle of the night. In fact he was a little afraid of her but he was not about to show that to her, she might be able to smell fear or something like that, so Leon just contented himself with a small sheepish smile and returning his sight back to the TV.

"My head doesn't have a funny shape" he stated, after remembering her first comment, it was pretty obvious she just said that because well... who knows but the fact was that he did NOT have a funny shaped head, his head was perfectly fine thank you very much. A normal person would totally strike back with something like 'well you have strange boobs' or 'your head isn't all that normal either' but not Leon, he was more of a pacifist, and he was pretty sure this girl could kick his butt into oblivion in less than ten seconds.

Resting his chin on his palms and his elbows on his knees, Leon adopted a usual position to watch movies, even horror movies, speaking of which, he had never seen this one before... it might interesting, or he might end up hiding behind Kaycee... yeah that could happen too.

Glancing slightly back at Kaycee, something deep inside Leon's head told him that maybe it wouldn't so 'nice to meet her' after all, she looked... violent, although Leon was never one to let the first impression scare him away, he usually waited till the second or third one to run back to his room and cry. Still, there was a question that right now nested itself on Leon's tongue and was eager to come out and play. What was she doing here, since she certainly looked like she didn't like the place. Without noticing it, Leon was now almost staring at Kaycee and ignoring the movie, dirty Leon XD!

ooc. [insert totally awesome excuse for the lateness] the truth we all know... is that I'm lazy -.-'
